Corrections & Update Policy

Accuracy is the whole point of an archive of real people. When we get something wrong — an outdated figure, a misidentified person, a broken source — we want to hear about it and fix it. This page explains exactly how to report an error, what we promise in return, and how corrections are recorded.

How to report an error

If you identify a factual error, outdated statistic, misidentified person, or a missing primary source on any profile, please send a correction notice to our editorial desk:

  1. Copy the URL of the page where you found the error.
  2. Describe exactly what appears to be wrong.
  3. Link a reliable source (official record, reputable publication, or primary document) that supports the correction, if you can.
  4. Email it to our editorial desk using the button below.

What happens next (our SLA)

  • Acknowledge: we aim to reply to a clear, well-sourced report within 3–5 working days.
  • Verify: every report is reviewed by Abhimanyu, Founder & Editor-in-Chief against our sourcing hierarchy. We do not change a page on an unverified tip alone.
  • Fix & date: when a correction is verified we update the page promptly and, for substantive factual changes, record the date and what changed.

Public corrections log

Significant corrections are noted on the affected page so the record stays transparent. Minor typographical fixes do not need an entry, but any change to a factual claim does. A sample entry looks like:

"2026-09-28 — Updated debut year from 2021 to 2022 per official BCCI records; source link refreshed."

Want the correction history for a specific page? Email the desk and we will provide it.
